The app is clean and easy to use. If you have ever used iMessage or basic SMS, WhatsApp will feel immediately familiar. The difference is that it works across all phones, operating systems, and countries without any cost beyond your internet connection.
2. What WhatsApp Does Well
End-to-end encryption by default. All messages and calls on WhatsApp are end-to-end encrypted by default. This means only you and the person you are communicating with can read your messages, not WhatsApp or anyone else. This is a meaningful privacy feature.
